Country music? What the hell? I peaked my eyes open and heard country music coming from the bathroom. Is that Sid singing? I jumped up out of bed, wrapped the sheet around me and stood next to the bathroom door. "Kiss me, kiss me til the sun comes up. So sweet, I could never get enough of your love. You taking me higher, ooh taking me higher. Lock me up inside of this room, I just want to be close to you. I can't take it anymore, baby I want you so much. I want to feel your breath on my skin, find that place we've never been. I want to spend all night tangled up all night in your love." Oh wow. I opened the bathroom door to see that he was in the shower just belting out the notes. This was unlike Sidney, I was always the one singing everywhere. "You okay babe? Head hurting?" I shouted and he immediately stopped singing. "What? I don't know what you're talking about." I decided to take advantage of this opportunity and jumped into the shower with him. "Oh hello," he smiled turning around to face me.

I was getting all too familiar with staring into my closet, I knew where every piece of clothing hung, it was just a matter of putting things together to create a look. "Hey babe, I want you to look super hot tonight okay?" Sidney shouted from the bathroom. Super hot? "Why?" "You'll thank me later, trust me." Did Riley get called up to the NHL? Who are the Pens playing tonight? Oh crap. I knew all I had to do was look at the paper to see who the Pens were playing, but it was worthless because I didn't even know who Riley had a contract through. Whatever, stop thinking about it. I pulled out a pair of skinny black jeans, and a very flowy, very low cut white top, which was almost see-through. I finished off the outfit with some grey ankle boots and a grey pea coat, very classic looking, yet still very sexy. "Wow." I turned around and now my blush was clashing with the outfit. "Sexy enough?" "It'd be even sexier if you wore a red bra." "No that would be slutty," I laughed.

Sidney and I walked through the halls of Mellon Arena hand in hand and I was a little scared, wondering what he was up to. "Why are we heading toward the visitor's locker room?" I asked as we walked straight pass the Penguins locker room. "Marty!" Sidney yelled out and I almost stopped dead in my tracks. Oh my god, Marty Turco. There he stood in a suit and a huge smile on his face. Is that a halo hanging over his head? "Sidney, how are you doing?" they exchanged hand shakes. "Doing great, happy to get back on the ice tonight," he smiled and I stood there trying my hardest not to stare at Marty. "Don't embarrass me tonight okay?" Marty laughed. Oh that laugh, that nose, those eyes, that mouth. Wow. "Marty I want you to meet my girlfriend Avery. She is quite the fan," Sidney smiled. Stop blushing Avery. "Fan huh? That is a huge honor. Sidney Crosby's beautiful girlfriend is a fan of little 'ol me, Marty Turco. It's very nice to meet you Avery," he smiled offering me his hand. I took his hand in mine and could feel the oxygen leaving my brain. "So nice to meet you Marty. Wow, I was not expecting this tonight," I laughed. "We'll have to go to dinner tonight," Marty suggested and I became over excited, squeezing onto Sidney's hand. "Sounds like a plan." Marty headed into the locker room and Sidney and I made our way back to the Pens locker room. "You are so getting lucky tonight Crosby, it's not even funny." "You really do have the hots for him, I thought I would have to wipe the drool away for a minute there, but you kept your cool. Are you wet?" he asked laughing. Yes! "No! Okay love you, see you after the game." I gave him a quick kiss and headed for the bathroom.

The clock ticked down the final seconds of the third period, and we were heading to overtime with a tied score at two apiece. I was on the edge of my seat watching the game, I didn't know what I was more excited for, dinner afterwards or the outcome of the game. Five minutes went by like it was nothing and we were heading to the shootout. Perfect, Sidney versus Marty, who would be the hero tonight? Blocked, blocked, another blocked. Marty and Flower both were looking amazing in goal. Now it was up to Sidney, he was held pointless throughout the game so I knew he really wanted to whip it past Marty. He cut wide left and brought it in, deking to his right then bringing it back to his backhand. When I saw the water bottle on the top of the net flip off I jumped up. GOAL!!!!!!! "He plays like he was never injured, amazing," Mario smiled before leaving the suite. I quickly grabbed my purse and followed Mario down to the locker room. "Sidney said you have a crush on Marty Turco, did you want to meet him?" he asked as we had our way through the hallways. "I met him before the game, I thought I was going to faint," I laughed once again blushing. You're turning into such a wussy Avery. Mario could only laugh. About twenty minutes later Marty joined me outside of the Pens locker room. "I'm heading back to the hotel, but have Sidney give me a call and we'll meet up for some dinner," he smiled and I nodded back. He winked at me as he walked away and a few moments later Sidney emerged from the craziness that was the Pens locker room after a win. "Good job babe," I smiled giving him a kiss. "See I'm way better than Marty Turco," he smiled as we left the arena.

I clinched onto Sidney's hand as we drove to Marty's hotel. "You're really nervous aren't you?" he laughed. "It's Marty Turco, I remember watching him at University of Michigan when I was a little kid. This is like if you were to meet Jennifer Aniston, imagine that," I laughed. "Well he's not that good, I did score on him." I want to score on him. I laughed, trying to get the thought of Marty Turco in my bed out of my mind. "He's married, with kids you know," Sidney stated after a few moments of silence. "Sidney, I love you. Marty I would never touch, I will just drool over," I laughed. "I still can't believe my girlfriend likes a goaltender," he laughed. We pulled up infront of Marty's hotel and he was standing outside waiting for us. He jumped in the back seat and my hands became sweaty. "Oh my word Avery," Sidney laughed as he wiped his hand on his pants. Oh my god! "Nice goal tonight kid, I have to admit you got me, but next time, no way in hell," Marty laughed.

The wine was flowing at the table and the thought that I had Sidney next to me and Marty across from me was a complete turn on, I couldn't wait to get Sidney home. "I just found out that Avery use to watch you play at University of Michigan," Sidney smiled once dinner was over. "Oh really, are you from there?" "No, my brother went there, he started in 1995, so we would go visit him and I caught one of your games and have been a fan ever since. We grew up in Washington and hockey really isn't a sport there, so whenever we got out of the state we would make sure to catch a game weather it was college, professional or major junior," I smiled as I took another sip of wine. "Sidney I have to tell you," Marty started with a huge smile on his face. "You got yourself a beautiful young lady here, don't let her go. Once you get a good one, you have to hold on. That's what I did with Kelly." Why the hell have you been blushing so much lately? "I never plan on letting go."
