At the end of the second period it felt like Sidney and I were the only ones still paying attention to the game. My dad was chatting up Troy and Mario all while tugging on his suspenders. He sure was looking fancy in his black shirt, black tie and black suspenders. Larry King? Maybe. "Do you want another beer?" Sidney asked as I looked down at my empty cup. "No, can we sneak away for a moment though, I think I just heard the ladies discussing wedding details," I laughed before giving him a small kiss. He got up from his seat and dragged me out of the suite. "Where are we going?" I asked him and we walked through many hallways. "Somewhere where I know we will be alone," he smiled. It felt like we were walking forever when we finally stepped into a rather large room with a bunch of tables. Sidney leaned up against one of the tables and I stepped between his legs. Just as I wrapped my arms around his neck, his phone began to vibrate. "Are you kidding me? Five minutes, five minutes we've been gone," he stated pulling his phone out. "Dad," he sighed as he opened his phone, "hey, we just stepped our for a minute, we'll be back before the start of the third. Bye." "Wow, way to go Crosby, I thought for sure you'd be stuck on that phone until we got back up there," I joked. "He doesn't hate you." "How do you know? You haven't talked to him at all, you've been sitting next to me all night." "I just know, he doesn't hate you. He can't hate you. How can my father hate someone that I love so much?" I shrugged my shoulders and concentrated on his lips. "You want to kiss me don't you?" "I do," I whispered just as he placed his lips on mine. Kissing him felt so right. "We have eight minutes to get back upstairs," he sighed between kisses. I could see a bright flash out of the corner of my eye and I pulled away from Sidney only to see a man with a camera taking pictures of us. "Hey man, come on!" Sidney yelled as he scurried out of the room. Looked like a rabbit. "Will that be on the front page tomorrow?" I asked laughing before kissing him again. "Probably," he laughed before grabbing my hand and we made our way back up to the suite.
Just as we opened the door, everyone swung their head back to look at us. "Good timing, they're about to drop the puck," Mario smiled and we made our way back to our seats. Troy gave both of us a stern look and I couldn't help but giggle a little. Sid is so wrong, I'm 100% sure he hates me. Maybe he's just a hateful guy. As the third period got underway my dad manage to break away from his new boyfriends to sit down next to me. "Avery, since we found a place so fast, your mother and I are heading home tomorrow and James will be flying out a week from now to get things started, ordering equipment and gutting the place. I couldn't be happier that you are taking this under your wings Avery, and nice job snatching up Sidney Crosby huh?" "He's not all what he's cracked up to be, laughs like a girl, walks funny, has no sense of direction what so ever but atleast he knows I will kill him if he hurts me," I laughed as my dad wrapped an arm around my shoulders. "You know mom and Sidney's mom are already discussing your wedding," my dad laughed. "Yeah I figured as much. It's just nice to see you guys getting along so well," I laughed myself. "It will have to be a summer wedding you know," Sidney chimed in. My eyes grew wide. Maybe I should have another beer!

His fingers trickled along my collar bone and I was about to lose myself in the moment and then he began to talk. "So since it was the big topic of the night, what's your view on marriage?" Oh shit. "I want to get married, and I want to have children, but I also want to have a career. I'm in no rush for marriage or a family though, I know it will happen someday." "Like in a few years? You're getting old you know." Oh no he didn't. "Thanks Sid, yeah maybe in two or three years, so I better start looking for a good guy." "Ouch. Ever think there might be something good for you right under your nose?" I couldn't help but smile. "I know I have something excellent right under my nose, even if it's broken. Do you want to get married and have kids?" "There's nothing I would want more, and I think I've met someone that would be an amazing mother to my children. Boys, I want boys." "Oh yeah? What's her name? I want four kids, three boys, one girl." "Her name is Avery Winters, and I'm head over heels in love with her, and I want her to have my children. Four kids would be good, as long as she doesn't lose her sex appeal everything would be amazing." I have sex appeal?! I leaned over and gave him a kiss before I snuggled into him and tried to fall asleep. My mind was racing, not even a month into this and we're discussing marriage and children.
When I woke up the next morning I was sad to see that Sidney was gone already. When I got up I saw he had left a note on his pillow. "Went to skate at Southpointe, you can come if you want. Here are the directions. Love you." Directions?! HA! Sidney can barely make his way around Pittsburgh and he's been here for two years, how is he going to leave me directions? I laughed out loud and decided it was something to do. I pulled on some jeans, threw on a zip-up sweatshirt and found a hideous hat hiding in the corner of the room. It was a furry Russian aviator hat, and on the front it said 'Gongshow'. Oh yeah, I'm gonna work this. I was very impressed with Sidney's directions as they took me straight to the complex. I managed to find my way to the ice, but there were only a few guys skating around out there. I walked around for a bit a few shirtless guys on the soccer field caught my attention, even more so when I saw one of the shirtless bandits was Max. Damn! I took a seat in the stands and saw Sidney playing goal in his half gear and gloves. "Nice hat babe!" he yelled just as Max kicked the ball into his shin. The whole team erupted into a laughing fit. "Avery will you marry me?!" Max yelled still laughing at Sidney. Sid promptly picked up the soccer ball and bounced it off Max's head. Oh boys!
After practice I met Sidney outside of the locker room and he couldn't stop laughing once he saw me in his hat. "Looks better on you than me, I still can't believe I did a TV interview wearing that thing." "You went on TV wearing this hat?" Now I was the one laughing. "Hey Avery, I heard your opening a brewery out here, can you make sure I get on the guest list for the grand opening?" Ryan asked as he was slowly walking past us. "Of course Bugsy, I'm sure the whole team will be on the list," I smiled and waved as he left. I looked at Sidney with wide eyes. "What? So I told a few guys, and they told a few guys, and the whole team knows. The upper management is very interested too, I don't know what they will do though. I guess only time will tell. When does this guy who works for your dad fly in?" "James? He flies in on Friday, what's your schedule like for this week? When do you get to play again?" "We don't have any games until Thursday, and I played contact today and I feel great, so I'm about 80% sure I will be playing Thursday. Away game Saturday though, Montreal," he said Montreal in his very sad, weak french accent. "Give it up," Flower laughed as he walked by in his very cute French accent. "Awesome, let's go home!" I smiled before giving him a small kiss.
